Assassin’s Creed Chronicles trilogy announced

Ubisoft has announced the Assassin’s Creed Chronicles trilogy, which will take players to China, India, and Russia and follow the stories of three famous Assassins. The first of the trilogy will be set in China and is due to release on April 21, 2015 in North and South America, before releasing on April 22, 2015 in EMEA territories.

The game will be available for download for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC. Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China will be followed by Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: India and Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: Russia, which will release separately later in the year.

The Assassin’s Creed Chronicles trilogy has been developed by Climax Studios in collaboration with Ubisoft Montreal. Players will be able to journey to three distinct civilizations and time periods throughout history in 2.5D. Each chronicle has its own unique setting, art style, story and Assassin, but all of them will weave together narratively.

Players will embody legendary Assassins, including Shao Jun from the animated short Assassin’s Creed Embers™, and Arbaaz Mir and Nikolaï Orelov from the Assassin’s Creed graphic novels. Slay from the shadows, master the art of parkour and take the leap of faith in a collection of stunning, living paintings. Each chronicle has its own artistic signature, from the beautiful brush paintings of China to the vibrant colors of India and the distinctive propaganda art style of Russia.

Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China will be available for $9.99, additionally it will be available to download for free for Assassin’s Creed Unity Season Pass holders. You can check out the trailer for Assassin’s Creed Chronicles.
